818 23 Avenue Southeast, Calgary

Year of Construction: 1908 ish

It is a CPR home constructed from a package shipped, we suspect, from BC. One of our porch boards has a ‘Sydney Lumber Co’ stamp on it, and apparently this company was one of many the CPR used to source their kit homes for CPR workers.
Our house, our neighbour to the west and the two across the street have identical footprints. I suspect they were put up at the same time.
