In 1882, William Nimmons, an English immigrant,purchased a 1/2 section of land on the present day site of Bankview for farming and ranching
purposes. IN the early 1990’s during the economic boom, the Nimmons estate was sub-divided and in 1910, 120 lots were advertised for sale, starting at $200. In 1913, a Mr. A.D. Chisholm purchased lots 4/5
from Mrs. I. Nimmons. The house was built between 1913 1nd 1914.
