Our home is a 1913 Craftsman style house. The house is a one and one half storey with rectangular plan. The house is likely wood-frame construction with common-bond pressed brick cladding and stucco accents. The front of the home has a full-width, partially enclosed veranda with brick and squared timber supports, and solid, wooden shingle ballastrade. Main floor windows and doors are accented with concrete lintels.
The interior of the home has retained many of its original features, including maple flooring on main level and Douglas fir on upper level. While the home has been upgraded, new features, such as windows and the fireplace have been designed to retain much of the original heritage character.
A prized feature of the property is a gorgeous perennial garden in the backyard, which blooms from spring until fall.
