1137 9 Street Southeast, Calgary

Year of Construction: 1911

Built in 1911 as a working man’s home, it has gone through multiple owners (non-famous) before we bought it in 1992. When we bought it, our neighbour who lived virtually her whole life next door said that at one time a small convenience store was run in the living room.
We have extensively renovated the house, trying to capture the feel of a 1911 house while upgrading, enlarging and ‘modernizing’. I think we were successful.
In terms of my sign & banner from 2012, they are still proudly on display. I may need new ones by July but will reuse if possible.
