1129 9 Street Southeast, Calgary

Year of Construction: Approx. 1913

My grandparents purchased this house in the 30′s. My grandfather used to be a conductor on the CPR and we used to walk down to the rail crossing at 8th Street and he would wave to us from the caboose. My parents had their wedding pictures taken in the back yard – my grandfather was a great gardener. After my grandmother passed away, I purchased the house from the estate. I am the third owner of the house. I have done some renovations to update the house but the original millwork, leaded glass and brass light fixtures are original to the house.
