The earliest occupant found in Henderson’s Directory for the house was Fred W. French, principal of a high school who lived in the house in 1915. In 1916 the house was occupied by P. H. Woodbury, the manager of Acme Fruit. The family of Malcolm MacGougan, an agent for New York Life, lived in the house from 1917 to 1919. Joseph F. Price, the manager of the Allen Theatre, lived in the house from 1920 to 1929. He was also a representative for Willys Overland vehicles. From 1930 to 1933 John W. Bishop lived in the home. He was the manager of the Athletic Billiard Parlour and then the proprietor of the York Hotel Barbershop.
